Product Description

Enjoy a total body cardio workout without trudging to the gym day after day with the Body Rider BRD2000 dual cardio trainer. The BRD2000 is actually two fitness machines in one, with a pair of elliptical arms and foot pedals for upright elliptical use, as well as an adjustable seat that turns the machine into an exercise bike. As a result, users can vary their workout routines depending on the goals they're trying to achieve. The BRD2000 is built around a chain-driven fan wheel, with high-momentum fan blades that run quietly and smoothly without impacting your knees. (The fan also produces a gentle breeze as you exercise.) The electronic console, meanwhile, makes it easy to track your workout, with measurements for time, speed, distance, and calories burned. Finally, the unit's seat adjusts vertically and horizontally to fit users of different heights and weights. Too busy to hit the gym on a regular basis? The BRD2000 will help you see results in only 20 minutes per day three or four times a week.

About Elliptical Trainers
Elliptical trainers represent the next wave of advancement in low-impact cardiovascular exercise machines and continue to grow in popularity. By simulating motions experienced through walking, stepping, cycling, and skiing, elliptical machines allow for a smooth and fluid motion while building strength in the arms and legs. Similar to the exercise position for treadmills, elliptical trainers are used by standing in an upright position while holding the handrails of the machine. With elliptical trainers, however, your feet remain in the foot pedals throughout the exercise regimen and circulate in a smooth and seamless motion, resulting in little to no impact on the knees, back, and hips.

Elliptical trainers are compatible for all ages and fitness levels and allow you to select the difficulty level through the incline and intensity settings. Additionally, elliptical trainers allow you to determine the complexity of your workout based on your needs, all while listening to music, watching television, or reading a magazine while exercising in the comfort and safety of your own home.

Although different types of elliptical trainers offer an assortment of features, many of them include an array of challenging programs, forward and reverse directional movement, EKG grip pulse handles, a lightweight portable design with easy fold-up capability, and a monitor displaying calories burned, distance, speed, time, and heart rate. Other types of exercise machines, namely treadmills and bikes, offer excellent cardiovascular exercise and muscular training for the legs in a forward-motion exercise. Elliptical trainers take this to the next level by offering an upper and lower body workout with dual motion, challenging and diverse programs, and a low-impact exercise machine that won't strain sensitive joints.

Excellent Excerise Machine!!!

I love this product!! I haven't exercised for quite awhile. I have degenerative bone disease in my knees and lower back and hip. This has been very easy and low impact on my knees and lower back. It feels to get to exercise again. This was easy to put together and most of it was already done. It was packaged very well and came at the right time as indicated to me. I would recommend this to anybody who needs that low impact type of exercise. I have been using the bicycle part of it and have gone up to twenties minutes already. I am so pleased. This is certainly a wonderful machine!!!!!
Just what I wanted

This was compact and inexpensive, just what I needed. I didn't want to spend hundreds for an elliptical if I was only going through an exercise phase. It was easy to put together, although I would use your own tools and not the ones it comes with. I love the seat. I can sit when my legs really start to burn without having to stop completely. It's a great starter machine. I would recommend it.
Pleasant Surprise

I have used this machine everyday for 5 days for at least 20-30 minutes and have already lost almost 3 pounds and almost an inch off of my waist! I am an absolute bargain hunter and will not spend more than I have to for anything. I believe this is a great product for the price and I got mine on sale for only $99 at Modell's! Certain things I don't trust having shipped so that is probably why I didn't have such a hard time others are. Sorry guys. It does exactly what its supposed to do. This product has been very good in performance. Smooth operation, not jarring. I use it primarily at night and it has not interrupted anyone's sleep. The bike seat is a great addition. Helps me work my thighs well and keep my heart rate up if I do not feel like standing. I am 5' 4" and I am comfortable using the machine. I did reverse the handles contrary to the instructions because it felt like I was punching towards the floor. Now they tilt inward towards me to prevent that feeling. The elliptical has a small footprint, it takes up a little over half the length of a yoga mat that I have it on. It has made a little more noise after a few days but a little WD-40 solved that problem. Thankfully I did not have an issue with any missing parts. Deal with a reputable seller and you will not be disappointed in the product for those of you looking for a good value. I gave it four stars for a not so accurate calorie counter since calories burnt vary from person to person. I use a heart monitor for that, now I just use the computer for the clock to keep my workout time.
Not that bad...

Reviewer: E. Siegler,
I ordered this based on the price and the fact that it had a seat as well as the arm bars I read the reviews of more expensive models and had a bit of anxiety towards putting it together. It only took about an hour and as long as you use your own tools and not the dollar store rejects they give you should have no problems.

I am giving this only three stars based on 2 things, First I am 6foot tall and when I use it as an elliptical its a bit tight and I do tend to punch myself a little when it comes back but I solved that by reversing them.

The other reason is also the handles being a little short. It feels like I'm punching downward instead of parallel. This machine is definitely designed for smaller men or women. but, besides that I do get a decent workout on it. Overall if you're looking for a value I would recommend this.
Body Rider Elliptical Trainer

I am a little dissapointed in this product because I checked out several other elliptical trainers before purchasing this one. They all mentioned that you had to have very long arms to use them. This one did'nt mention that specific problem, however, I am a short person, and I can hardly use this trainer because I have short arms also. I think you would have to be part monkey to be comfortable using this product. I will make the best of it because I cannot afford to waste $150.00.
Looks Good, Ships Badly

Reviewer: K. Stephenson,
I thought this exercise bike would be perfect. I wanted an elliptical and a bike, and it's both. So I thought "yes!" But the truth of it is, I never got to use it. It was damaged in shipping, and honestly I don't know if I would have been able to put the thing together even if it hadn't been. The basic hull (fan motor) was already assembeled, but everything else was in a jumble of pieces. I'm a pretty smart cookie, but it wasn't packaged in any logical way, and you need an entire room of floor space just to layout all of the pieces. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who is direction-challenged or someone who just wants to get the thing and start exercising.
GET SOMETHING BETTER!!!!

It's an okay bike but I would rather pay a little more and go for something better also some of the knobs get loosen up and could be a danger
Disaster

Reviewer: Mary J. Smith,
It's used 1 hour a day and requires constant adjustments which require removal of side plates and linkage. It's will made but a complete engineeering disaster.
shipping gone wrong

Not realizing that the shipping could be an issue, I ordered the Body Rider and eagerly anticipated it's arrival. I was sadly disappointed to find the plastic housing which covers the wheel mechanism to be cracked when I uncrated all the parts. My concern was that it was more than cosmetic, but I might have pressed on, if I hadn't found that the bubble cover on the hardware card had come apart, so that all of the hardware for assembly was freely dispersed through the box. After I gathered all of that up, I found that some of the washers were missing. I have no desire to be a fitness machine repair shop, finding the correct hardware to make up for what was missing, so I returned the unit. Since it was out of stock I could not get a replacement (although I would be hesitant given my experience), so I have asked for a refund, which, four weeks later, has not been completed. I would recommend that there be additional padding for plastic parts, and that the bubble card for hardware be enclosed in some zipper type plastic bag.
WHAT THA HELL?
